Senior Graphic Designer to act as Career Coach for Mento - a career-oriented technology firm

They’re on a mission to give people access to the best job advice in the world while also empowering them to act on it. They provide people with the goods, information, and support they need to develop and maintain meaningful careers in a world where jobs and professions are rapidly changing.

They are seeking for a career coach who specializes in assisting professionals in Product and Graphic Design. From assisting them with their everyday tasks to assisting them with their long-term career goals, you will assist professionals in all facets of their professions.

Responsibilities:

• Acting as their users’ primary point of contact;
• Providing 1:1 coaching, feedback, and support via virtual sessions as well as text, email, and other means.
• Provide assistance to professionals through group coaching and one-on-one sessions.
• Asynchronous feedback and material and content review.
• Collaborating with the Mento team to enhance the product and the user experience
• Assisting in the enhancement of their coaching processes and the development of materials to create an outstanding user experience and meet their purpose of assisting individuals in thriving in jobs they enjoy.
• Acting as an ambassador and spokesperson of the Mento community with love and respect

Requirements:

• Dedicated to assisting people to grow in their professions and locate and establish satisfying careers.
• 5+ years of experience working in the computer business in Design or a Creative position!
• You should have prior experience working as a career coach (but coaching certification is not essential!).
• A person with a high EQ acts with empathy and can create a safe space for others. You understand that every work has both positive and negative aspects. They are a startup with several hats to wear!
• Capable of navigating ambiguity!

Concerning the job:

• This is a part-time position with an hourly wage and a performance incentive. You must have the time to devote at least 5 hours each week to Mento. They will begin with a 6-month commitment, but more is welcome.
• Position in the distance. Candidates should preferably be US citizens.
