Nintendo: Contract Associate UI Artist (NST)

UI Designer is needed in Redmond, United States.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creates extraordinary user interface visual assets that fulfil the necessary direction and quality requirements for digital entertainment offerings.
• Produces UI art elements of the highest quality, including icons, buttons, fonts, and animations.
• Develops UI art concepts, mockups, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with other departments to assist in defining appealing and intuitive user experiences.
• Helps project leaders visualise and build game designs.
• Encourages the creation of innovative or improved art development tools and approaches.
• Maintains expert knowledge of essential commercial and Nintendo-specific art production tools.

REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY:

• Atleast 2 years experience working in a UI artist production role for a games company or similar interactive entertainment
• Proven artistic and technical abilities in both 2D and 3D user interface art production.
• Excellent 2D vector art and iconography abilities.
• Knowledge of the production processes, interactive entertainment methodology, and art standards for the Nintendo franchise.
• Experience using the most recent Nintendo proprietary 2D/3D art production tools is a bonus, as is shown expertise with commercial 2D/3D art production software (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Possessing strong abilities in both oral and writing expression.
