POSITION AND PURPOSE: The primary function of this role is to amplify the mission of the church, compel action and engagement in church and community activities through creative and impressive design. We’re looking for an experienced Graphic Designer familiar with a collaborative process who is open to feedback especially as it pertains to culturally and emotionally intelligent design. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide array of projects that range from brand identity to user interface design across a wide array of websites, apps and content.

POSITION OUTCOMES/EXPECTATIONS

Graphic design

-Design all graphics including sermon series, church events, Bible studies, website, announcements, mailers, banners/signage, bulletins, brochures, posters, etc.
-Design Koinonia’s weekly church-wide announcement (bulletin, announcements, newsletters, emails).
-Update Pew Cards as needed and sign-up form with designs to maintain relevance and timelessness.
-Contribute design support for social media posts

Brand Management

-Maintain a high level of fidelity of use of the Koinonia brand and style guide across all marketing elements.
-Provide guidance to ministry leaders on graphics selection and use best practices for maximum engagement and action.
-Maintain a unified brand and style voice across different events, communications, website as well as all social media channels.
-Collaborate with Communications as they monitor social media channels for adjustment to posting styles and content.
