Shooting and Editing Video Interviews for a Berlin-Based Museum

Videographer is needed in Berlin, Germany.

The Bröhan-Museum plans to conduct a series of on-site talks and interviews with e.g. collectors and designers (about 4x a year), which we would like to record and publish on YouTube. So far, we have produced these videos in-house, but this is currently no longer an option for us due to the high resource commitment.
Therefore, we are currently looking for external partners who can take over the technical part of the production and thus relieve us.

I wanted to ask you without obligation if your company could do the production of these videos and how much it would cost?

Here are a few key data:
• Shooting location is the Bröhan-Museum, ideally on our closing day Monday.
• 2-3 interview partners per video, the preparation of the interview content and the moderation will be done by us.
• You would be responsible for the technical part of the video, provide the necessary equipment and carry out the shooting. Among other things, we need adequate lighting, cameras for 2-3 perspectives (person A, person B, long shot), lavalier microphones for each person.
• For the art objects mentioned in the conversation, a little B-roll should be filmed of these objects in order to fade them in.
• Duration of one video: about 20 minutes
• After recording the video, you would edit it (e.g., cut out excessive use of filler words like “äh”), add some sort of title and credits, as well as a Lower Third for all people involved (e.g., with name and profession/function).
• The conversations will be held in German. Do you offer a transcript of the video, and can you have this transcript translated into English so that the subtitles on Youtube are also available in English?Youtube’s automatic translation has not been satisfactory so far.
• You would provide us with the finished video in digital format (mp4?), at least in Full HD- resolution, better still in UHD/4K. We will take care of the upload to YouTube.
• The exact dates, topics and interlocutors are not yet fixed, because we are still at the very beginning of this project.
