As the Contract Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing social media posts, creating content, and building community for Temporary Legend. This part-time role requires approximately 10 hours per week, with potential for expansion as the company grows. The position is open to remote applicants worldwide. Compensation is $25 USD per hour, with opportunities for increases based on the studio’s needs and successes. Temporary Legend is open to candidates with non-traditional experience.
Responsibilities:
- Grow the Temporary Legend community with a focus on engagement and followers
- Define and measure unique KPIs for each platform (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter)
- Report on the success of social media campaigns
- Execute existing social media strategy and create new strategies for all platforms
- Lead and support announcements, launches, and audience engagement on social platforms
- Develop fan-focused social media campaigns for acquisition and retention
- Capture engaging assets from shows and events for use on social media
- Maintain a social media posting schedule/calendar
- Use and manage social media scheduling software
- Oversee social media creative, copy, and project deliverables
- Write social copy aligned with brand voice
- Engage with content creators, influencers, and external brands to grow network of ambassadors
- Develop community-facing activations including digital events, contests, live streams, and live events
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Tabletop Actual Play Shows, Web Series, Video Games, Comic Books, Podcasts, & Scripted Audio Dramas and their fan communities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for and understanding of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
- Emotional Intelligence and ability to lead with empathy
- Intermediate to advanced understanding of engaging social media content
- Previous experience building and moderating online communities preferred
- Experience in image and video editing for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter)
- Experience in going Live and scheduling premieres on various platforms
- Ability to analyze engagement data and identify trends for planning social activations and campaigns
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Marketing & Sales Strategy & Best Practices
- Undergraduate and/or Graduate Degree in a relevant field of study
