Job Description:

Warner Bros. Discovery is looking for a Graphic Designer to support CNN, CNN International, and CNN Español network programming by creating still and animated graphics. This role will be for the overnight hours and is part of the “follow the sun” support model for international networks.

Responsibilities:

• Create still and animated graphics to support CNN, CNN International and CNN Español network programming
• Serve the graphic needs of CNN Worldwide
• Manage time and resources to create a diverse scope of graphics supporting daily news and other network programming
• Develop branding and work within style guides
• Act as the client-facing point person for daily news requests
• Thorough understanding of CNN Design standards and Style is appropriately applied and advocated on all projects
• Keep up with current news events that pertain to CNN, CNN International and CNN Español networks and assess how these can be effectively supported with graphics
• Quickly respond to graphic needs during breaking news
• Support internal graphics, conceptualizations and production needs across both networks

Requirements:

• Degree from an accredited art school with emphasis in graphic design, motion design or related field (illustration, photography, industrial design, visual communications) or equivalent work experience
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with other teams under pressure
• Embrace working in a diverse, collaborative environment and willingness to train and assist other designers on various levels
• Excellent computer, organizational and interpersonal skills required
• Excellent working knowledge with Photoshop and Illustrator in Adobe Creative Suite. Motion design skills in After Effects and Cinema 4D are a plus.
