Communications LAB is looking for an experienced graphic designer to be a part of our digital marketing team! We are looking for a candidate who is ready to create engaging and on-brand graphics for our client’s social media and digital platforms. The successful candidate will be a creative and resilient designer who is knowledgeable on digital trends and is looking for a shot in the fast-paced agency world. You will work with our dedicated, award-winning social media team, as well as our video production team, to create Facebook posts, Insta videos, website graphics and so much more. This position will help in the idea/creative generation process and be relied on to take approved ideas and provide creative and branded print/digital solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the successful completion of design projects by creating materials for both digital and print applications on behalf of our clients.
• Provide routine graphic design for 5+ social media calendars
• Create branded assets including but not limited to logos, flyers, posters, web banners, web pages and online assets like banners, icons, images and email graphics/campaigns.
• Assist with the production of marketing materials and production timelines.
• Rework existing materials for new dimensions, new implementations or reprints.
• Follow client brand & voice guides.
• Motion Graphic development (if candidate has experience)

Skills:

• 5+ years graphic designing experience
• Some college preferred (marketing and/or graphic design courses)
• Proficient in web-based graphics including formatting, optimization, and on-screen consideration
• UI/UX experience a plus!
• Thorough understanding of typography, iconography, layout, color theory and graphic design principles
• Proficient with design software and technologies (such as InDesign and Illustrator)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Photo editing skills a plus!

Experience:

• Graphic design: 5 years (Required)
• Adobe Creative Suite: 2 years (Required)
• Canva: 1 year (Preferred)
• Social Media Graphic Design: 2 years (Required)
