Graphic Designer

Avfuel, a privately-held, industry-leading aviation company located in Ann Arbor, seeks a creative, experienced, and resourceful designer that can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position will provide integral graphic support to the marketing team and company as a whole, producing stunning design work for promotions, advertisements, event/convention displays, digital graphics, and branded materials across all communication channels.

Responsibilities

  • Thoughtful and clean graphic design of ads, brochures, emails, manuals, web pages, exhibit graphics, presentations, videos, and more (aka: ALL THINGS DESIGN) for Avfuel’s corporate brand, as well as their B2B customers.
  • Collaboration with internal and external customers to problem-solve, create or update materials as needed.
  • Collaboration with print production companies to select collateral materials, print finishes, and ensure timely execution of print materials.
  • Communication with customers and internal team to bring marketing and design requests to fruition.

Requirements

  • Strong online portfolio demonstrating experience in digital/web, print, UX, branding, and video
  • Proficiency with Adobe CC: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • AfterEffects, PremierePro, Final Cut Pro are a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Proficiency with website creation and graphics management
  • Experience with building effective email communications
  • Professional demeanor and written/oral communication
  • Interest in collaborating and contributing in meetings/discussions
  • Strong work ethic; ability to work with minimal supervision, managing priorities and multiple projects at once
  • Ability to recognize brand look and feel, and work within corporate design and style guidelines
  • Close attention to detail and accountability to follow up with project stakeholders to meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and execute individual project list with multiple project types and sizes
  • Understanding of print production procedures and how to prepare design assets for print
  • 2-3 years experience in Graphic Design
  • Ability/desire to learn new programs
