iCrossing is looking for a super talented UI Designer for a temporary assignment, with a passion for design and knowledge of Figma and other collaborative design tools. The candidate will be responsible for designing and shaping amazing user-centric products and experiences. The ideal candidate will be passionate about crafting beautiful and functional user interfaces. They should be familiar with working collaboratively, incorporating direction from team members and stakeholders, interfacing with developers, UX designers and working with copy/content writers. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and have the opportunity to craft any given user-experience journey into a memorable and intuitive interaction.

What You’ll Do

• Create functional and beautiful user interfaces.
• Take ownership of the look and function of existing design components in Figma.
• Collaborate closely with UX team to translate wireframes into layouts.
• Create amazing prototypes.
• Find innovative ways to optimize existing user interface designs.
• Build and maintain a deep understanding of the user experience within a webpage, app, or other digital product, ensuring all interactions are intuitive and easy for customers.
• Become an expert and advocate of branding guidelines, digital design systems and how we apply them.
• Plan and implement new designs.
• Help build out presentations to convey project plans to clients and management.
• Audit and expand existing design systems.

Who You Are

• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI design; portfolio required.
• You are a great collaborator and expert who can inspire others with the latest UI trends and current design strategy and technology.
• An expert in design software like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, inVision, Axure, etc… Figma experts will go to the top of the list. Should also be familiar with the Adobe Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc…) and the ability to work in MS Office tools like PowerPoint when necessary.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize design solutions for the best possible outcome.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently.
• Ability to communicate & collaborate effectively with others to create top-performing interfaces.
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
