Summary of Job Duties:

The Graphic Design Support Specialist will:

• Assist with development of high-quality print and digital professional marketing materials
• Produce promotional materials that include, but are not limited to, printed and/or digital flyers, banners and ads, web graphics, cropped photos, and graphics for promotional items, etc.
• Follow established university branding guidelines, as well as accessibility standards
• Collaborate with the communications team, the Global Campus and other units across campus to maintain consistent branding and messaging

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience in graphic design, marketing or a related field
• Intermediate experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat Pro
• Organized and detail oriented
• Must work at the Global Campus in Fayetteville during standard business hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or working toward a bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field
• Experience using brand guidelines
• Aware of user experience and how graphic design impacts marketing
• Basic animation experience is a plus
• Basic understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
• At least one year of work experience in higher education recruitment or communications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• A portfolio that shows competency across print and digital communications
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
• Experience with Adobe After Effects
• Experience interpreting client requests into completed work

Salary Information:

$15.00 per hour
