Description:

The CBS Sports Social Media team creates and distributes all content posted from CBS Sports, CBS Sports Network, and CBS Sports Digital’s social media channels. In a sports media landscape that’s cluttered with noise, we take pride in building creative concepts that cut through with our audience and represent the values of our brand.

The Role:

The Social Media Coordinator will play a major role in covering CBS Sports’ core properties on social media. Whether with CBS broadcast, CBS Sports HQ, CBS Sports Network, or Paramount+, they will be the voice of our brand during important moments. In addition to covering live sporting events and studio shows on our networks, they will be responsible with effectively distributing segments, collaborating with departments across the company to promote our properties, and creating original social content featuring CBS Sports talent.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Cover CBS Sports programming live on social media
• Format studio show segments optimally for vertical video platforms
• Upload longform segments to CBS Sports YouTube channel
• Identify meaningful breaking sports news and game moments, come up with engaging social content in response
• Create photoshops and videos from scratch via Adobe Creative Suite
• Regularly communicate/collaborate with departments to ensure CBS Sports broadcasts are promoted effectively across our social channels

Qualifications:

What you bring to the team:

• Extreme passion for all sports
• Strong familiarity with managing Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube accounts
• Willingness to adapt working schedule to cover prime time sports viewing hours on nights and weekends
• Ability to work under extremely fast turnaround times
• Grasp of Adobe Creative Suite and hunger to improve your craft

Additional Information:

Hiring Salary Range: $45,000.00 - 50,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
