About the Job:

We are seeking a talented Illustrator and Graphic Designer with a working knowledge of typography and color application. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for visual aesthetics, a creative mindset, and a proven track record of producing illustration and typography based works specifically designed for application on consumer products.

Responsibilities:

• Create original and engaging graphic and sentiment related artwork based on trend directives.
• Manipulating and recoloring of existing artwork for product application.
• Digital product renderings.
• Transform concepts, briefs, and ideas into visually appealing designs that resonate with our target audience.
• Utilize Adobe Illustrator to create vector-based illustrations, icons, and graphics that maintain high quality and resolution across various mediums.
• Stay updated on industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to continually enhance your skills and offer innovative design solutions.
• Work closely with our Head of Creative to ensure that design deliverables meet project goals, timelines, and quality standards.
• Iterate and revise designs based on feedback from clients and internal stakeholders, demonstrating flexibility and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional work.
• Manage your own workload, ensuring timely completion of projects and effective communication regarding project status.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a freelance Graphic Designer specializing in illustration and typography, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, with a deep understanding of vector-based design principles.
• Creative flair, innovative thinking, and a strong eye for detail in order to produce visually captivating designs.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Familiarity with different design styles and the ability to adapt your work to suit various brand aesthetics.
• A solid understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout composition.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to iterate on designs based on feedback.
• A passion for staying up-to-date with design trends, tools, and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Design, Illustration, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Experience working as a freelance designer for diverse clients and industries.
• Knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite tools, such as Photoshop and Illustrator
