In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the visual identity of various projects, including logos and branding, websites, social media, newsletters, and collateral.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Creative Director to create visually appealing designs for various projects, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and print/digital pieces.
• Be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) to craft high-quality graphics, illustrations, and layouts.
• Design and update Squarespace websites, maintaining a unique user experience and visually striking interface.
• Use Mailchimp for newsletters and Canva to create user-friendly, interactive documents.
• Stay aware of industry trends and best practices in design, web development, and social media to ensure our work remains cutting edge.
• Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and uphold high standards of quality and creativity.

Requirements:

• Experience as a freelance or part-time designer, supported by a portfolio of design projects.
• PLEASE PROVIDE WEBSITE OR PORTFOLIO WITH APPLICATION.
• Available for daily check-ins via email, and throughout the week to complete projects.
• Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as Mailchimp, Canva, and Squarespace.
• Up-to-date on current social media trends.
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color, and layout techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively on a team.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality work.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently, managing time and priorities efficiently.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and deadlines.

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
