About us

CalFlor A.S. is a wholesale/light manufacturing/importing small business in the Building Materials industry in Oroville/Chico. We design, develop, and produce products for the national flooring industry. Our customers include Home Depot, Lumber Liquidators, Costco, Mohawk Industries, and others. We are a fun group of people who love to think outside the box on ways to improve both customer and installer experiences with their floors.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new visual identities for our clients
• Create and update brand assets, including logos, icons, packaging, instructions, and other visual content
• Design promotional materials, including catalogs, brochures, flyers, email blasts, social media posts, and other marketing-related content
• Create & update web graphics and web-based applications
• Research design trends and best practices to improve the user experience
• Manage visual assets across multiple platforms including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Communicate with marketing and product development teams to ensure consistency across all projects
• Update brand assets as needed to maintain brand standards across all projects
• Update client documentation as needed to maintain client consistency across projects

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a designer or similar role (2+ years) in a fast-paced environment and/or a degree in graphic design, digital arts, etc. required.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with working with a team on past projects is preferred
• Proven experience with UX/UI design & website/social media management preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Suites preferred.
• Possess a working knowledge of current trends & strong research skills.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
