Our store offers a wide range of pet supplies, food, toys, treats etc, alongside our well established pet services company. We provide a collection of indoor (and outdoor) plants to enhance living spaces and create a greener environment, which we are looking to grow and expand.

Job Summary:

As we expand our reach, we are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to drive sales and customer engagement through compelling digital content and strategic social media campaigns. This is a contracted position for between 0 – 35 hours per week dependent on the applicant. Please do not apply for this position if you are unable to work from our offices at least 2 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business objectives to drive sales and customer engagement.
• Create, curate, and manage engaging and visually appealing content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok.
• Build and maintain a customer sales platform through TikTok live/ shop and similar services.
• Design and execute captivating campaigns, promotions, and contests that resonate with our target audience and encourage participation.
• Monitor trends, customer preferences, and industry developments to adapt content and strategies accordingly.
• Foster and engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Analyse social media metrics and provide regular performance reports, using insights to refine strategies and optimize content.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance our digital presence.
• Identify and leverage partnerships and influencer collaborations to expand our reach and drive sales.

Requirements:

• A portfolio of content examples either personal or business to show proficiency using various social media platforms.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably within the pet, plant, or lifestyle industry.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop visually appealing and engaging content.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to comfortably and professionally use live streaming services on TikTok (and related platforms).
• Passion for pets, plants, and customer satisfaction.

Salary:

£11.50-£17.00 per hour
