Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to fulfill a part-time role as a graphic and digital designer for internal and external projects. From typesetting business cards and brochures for clients to imposing print jobs for press, a candidate with experience in the printing industry is ideal, but we are willing to train someone in these areas. Graphic design for print knowledge is a must, including setting up files correctly in terms of color space, resolution, bleeds, margins, etc. With this position in our dynamic design department, you will not only have the opportunity to work on client print jobs, but will also assist on internal marketing design, both printed and digital, in support of our overall marketing goals.

Key Skills

• Candidate must be comfortable using the Adobe Creative Suite
• InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator proficiency
• Candidates with experience in printing industry or designing for print highly preferred
• Our workflow is heavily reliant on Mac OSX, candidates should be comfortable working on Apple products
• Candidate must have a strong work ethic, able to own individual projects AND work as a team
• Candidate must be flexible and willing to learn new skills as necessary

This job also requires the use of various Web2Print and Print Content Management and Ordering Systems - candidates without experience with these software will receive training as necessary. Overall, a position in our design department requires flexibility and a strong work ethic. With new clients and jobs coming in all the time, the position will challenge your design skills, stretch your creativity, and have plenty of room for growth for the right person!

• Graphic design: 2 years (Preferred)
• Adobe Creative Suite: 2 years (Preferred)
• Adobe Illustrator: 2 years (Preferred)
