Location: Spearfish, SD

Contract: Temporary, Part-time

This position will work up to 29 hours a week through July 31, 2024. Pay is $21.00/hour.

Responsibilities

• Creates and approves graphic illustrations, materials, and projects to maintain high level of quality in completed work.
• Develops visually pleasing, accurate, and easily understandable materials.
• Proactively work within a small team environment and manage multiple projects at once.
• Assist with supervising graphic design student workers.
• Ability to oversee and follow-through projects from concept to delivery.
• Ability to work with an established brand and apply and educate others on graphic design standards.
• Uphold a consistent brand identity for Black Hills State University.
• Reports directly to the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications
• Additional duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications.
• This is a temporary position: DATE RANGE

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred OR three (3) or more years of experience in related field.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and graphic design applications.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, dependable, punctual, willing to learn and a self-starter.
