Location: Chapel Hill, NC

Contract: Temporary, Part-time

Hiring Range: $30 - $40 / hour

Estimated Duration of Appointment: 6 months not to exceed 11 months

Position Information

Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit: The UNC School of Medicine has a rich tradition of excellence and care. Position Summary: The graphic designer will create several custom-made templates for the distribution of materials by the LCCC Director’s Office. Templates will be used to produce Center newsletters, informational packets, and PowerPoint presentations, with additional formats as needed. The graphic designer’s work in her or his preferred medium (e.g., Adobe InDesign, MS Publisher) will be conducted iteratively and in consultation with a member of the LCCC Administrative Team in order to tailor aesthetically-pleasing materials suitable to the intended content.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

  • Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience: Experience with using Microsoft Office products.
