User Interface (UI) Designer

Location: Atlantic City, NJ (Hybrid) LOCALS ONLY

Contract to Hire - W2/1099

Highly Desired Skills:

  • Proven UI experience in web and iOS application.
  • Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript libraries such as jQuery for rapid prototyping.
  • Bootstrap CSS Framework.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques and technologies.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • .NET.
  • Python.
  • ASP.NET.
  • C#.
  • PHP.
  • Web server-side knowledge (Apache/IIS).
  • Knowledge in 508 Compliance standards and Human Factors.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Math or a Bachelor’s degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics and computer science and (15) years of related work experience in a computer science or math field OR
  • Master’s Degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours of either undergraduate or graduate study in a combination of mathematics, statistics and computer science and (12) years related work experience in a computer science or math field.

Job Types:

Full-time, Contract

Salary:

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

Atlantic City, NJ 08401: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
