The Creative Social Media Manager

• The Creative Social Media Manager will be responsible for executing the social media strategy for social handles around public policy and advocacy. The Manager will be responsible for creating and managing content across all social media platforms, engaging with followers, and maintaining a distribution calendar. The role will also monitor the performance of social media channels and analyze the data to optimize strategies as relevant.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to implement the goals of the Head of Social
• Create and manage content across all social media platforms
• Create and maintain a distribution calendar
• Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices
• Monitor and analyze the performance of our social media campaigns using metrics like reach, impressions, engagement, conversions, etc.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure brand consistency
• Develop and collaborate on paid social media campaigns
• Contribute creative ideas for content formats
• Create and curate original and captivating content, such as copy, videos, graphics, stories, etc., that aligns with our strategy

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
• Strong understanding of trends and current events
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative flair and ability to produce eye-catching and engaging content
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
