Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior User Interface Designer who specializes in the Northstar methodology to lead and contribute to the design of our digital products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Northstar Methodology Expertise: Apply your in-depth knowledge of the Northstar methodology to guide the user interface design process and ensure it aligns with our business objectives and user needs.
• UI Design: Create visually appealing and effective user interfaces that enhance user experiences, incorporating best practices, design principles, and the Northstar methodology into your work.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to gather insights and collaborate on design projects.
• User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gain a deep understanding of user behavior, preferences, and pain points, using these insights to inform your design decisions.
• Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes to communicate your design concepts and iteratively refine them based on user feedback and team input.
• Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a robust design system that ensures consistency across all digital products and aligns with the Northstar methodology.
• User-Centered Design: Advocate for user-centered design practices and ensure that the user’s perspective is at the core of the design process.
• Mentoring and Leadership: Mentor junior designers and collaborate with the design team to foster a culture of design excellence and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Expertise in the Northstar methodology and its application to UI design.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of current UI design trends, best practices, and design systems.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and iterative design processes.
• Leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior designers.
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies and principles is a plus.
