FREELANCE 2D / GRAPHIC DESIGNER JOB DESCRIPTION

Creative Graphic Designers are always a welcome addition to our dynamic team. Bring your flair, perspective and originality to develop breakthrough creative that complements existing client work and new business initiatives. FIRST is seeking a highly motivated, professional & hands-on Freelance 2D / Graphic Designer to provide support and actively participate in an award-winning Creative & Design team. A successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and adapt to ever-changing demands. This role will report to our Global Creative Studio.

DURATION:

Generally, 1-4 week assignments dependent upon project needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop visual identities and graphics support for industry application including; event logos/branding, signage, print collateral, website, platform mock-ups, proposal decks, etc.
• Participate in creative brainstorms and visual explorations for creative development.
• Coordinate communications with internal departments and external suppliers to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Provide art files for small & large scale productions in the print and digital mediums.
• Proactively communicate issues, opportunities, and insights to the team.
• Complete ad-hoc requests as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 – 5+ years’ experience with traditional and digital media:
• Experience in events and/or experiential marketing is highly preferred.
• Motion graphics experience a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Graphic Design or related fields.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint.
• Professional working knowledge of industry standard design software and tools including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign).
• Proficient working knowledge of After Effect a plus.
• Presentation design experience with programs such as PowerPoint & Keynote.
• Experience working in large format graphics.
• Video editing or Motion Graphics/3D experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to turn concepts into reality utilizing strong typography and design skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels of an organization.
• Efficient project management skills with the ability to adhere to critical project timelines.
• Excellent time management, multi-tasking and follow-through skills.
• Approachable with a collaborative/team-player attitude.
• Adaptability to situations, personalities and ever-changing demands.
• Highly motivated and organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and apply judgment to prioritize.

ADMINISTRATION & GENERAL

• Work intelligently and ensure that team management is aware of problems or issues which negatively affect productivity.
• Accurate adherence to company’s time tracking policies and systems.
• Work on ad hoc requests as required.

United States Residents: The hourly pay for this position ranges from $65 - $90.
