The Role

The social media manager will be expected to manage all brand social channels and take responsibility for posting and producing social content. Including managing production of limited number of printed materials. Provide insight into the behaviour of social communities. Including communication with suppliers, coordinate with the salons and management team to ensure knowledge of current promotions and new products/treatments.

What about you…

  • Be interested in what we do and who we are.
  • Take ownership of all current social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter etc.).
  • Develop and maintain a social media presence on any new or existing channels that are appropriate and beneficial to growing the brand.
  • Keep all channels updated and aligned with current site branding/information.
  • Create and curate content to engage fanbase with relevant articles, photos & other media.
  • Plan, schedule and deliver content to ensure timely engagement with our audiences.
  • Monitor Key Metrics such as engagement, website traffic and followers.
  • Develop and manage interactive campaigns to promote brand awareness and drive increased traffic to websites.
  • Opportunistic posting to capitalise on topical events for additional exposure.
  • Monitor competitors’ social media strategies and research new advancements across channels.
  • Be the voice of our brand in all communications.

We’d like to meet someone with

  • Self-motivated with a passion for all things beauty & digital.
  • Strong IT skills and previous experience of using Mailchimp & Hootsuite.
  • Exceptional Photoshop & Power Point skills.
  • Attention to detail and proof reading essential.
  • A good eye for creating and researching sharable content.
  • High level of spelling and grammar.
  • Ability to connect with audiences of varying demographics.
  • Excellent team working, collaboration and networking skills.
  • Good Communication Skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: Up to £20,000.00 per year

Benefits:

Schedule: No weekends
