Position Overview:

As a Social Media Manager at , you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategies across various platforms. You will work closely with the marketing team to enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive measurable results. The ideal candidate is creative, analytical, and up to date with the latest social media trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, and audio/podcast) across social platforms, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and voice.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Analyse social media insights and data to measure the success of campaigns, track KPIs, and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and sales, to create cohesive and effective social media campaigns.
  • Stay updated on emerging social media platforms, tools, and best practices, and provide recommendations for their adoption when relevant.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Fluent Punjabi speaker
  • Full understanding of the Sikh Faith
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role in a corporate setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of popular social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Strong creative and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Photoshop skills is essential

  • Flexibility
  • Stamina, energy and enthusiasm to handle the demands from across the organisation.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • A good knowledge of marketing techniques and their application including development of campaigns from inception to delivery.
  • Market research experience relating to product development and route to market activity.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with a range of audiences from across a number of disciplines.
  • Ability to utilize social media and web applications to support market activity and corporate image.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments, members and partners.
  • Ability to exercise judgment, identifying and managing risk and making clear, informed, appropriate, pragmatic and timely decisions within a highly pressurized environment.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Able to attend events and other off-site functions.
  • Flexibility to support one off events during weekends.
  • Willingness to support other departments (I.E corporates and private events with Events team)

Salary:

ÂŁ7.91-ÂŁ15.33 per hour
