Contract: Part Time, Full Time

Tasks:

• Detailed/technical line drawings
• Digital Photography
• Scanning, artwork e-mailing, image manipulation.
• Production of advertisements
• Designing and creating print ready artwork including pack copy
• Following briefs to visualise ideas & concepts within the promotional merchandise field
• Identifying opportunities to improve areas within the business graphically
• Updating the company website
• Designing concepts, patterns, prints
• Putting together future trends forecasts
• Proactively looking at ways to improve & keep up to date with company graphics requirements
• Updating company portfolio
• Prioritising workloads
• Managing time & communications within a busy team
• Meeting and working to tight deadlines where required

The role requires:

• An eye for detail, artistic flair and excellent Graphics knowledge
• Knowledge of latest Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator programmes
• Excellent communication skills to translate ideas from client account managers and maintaining positive relationships and managing expectations.
• A self starter. As this is a standalone division within the business, with a unique skill set, the role requires someone who is self-motivated, who will keep up to date and improve their knowledge of the latest Graphics tools and make suggestions, requests and proposals to the MD as appropriate / required.

Graphics coverage for the business

• Salary range £20,000 to £25,000 pa subject to experience.
• Full-time office hours 9-5:30pm (5pm on Fridays) 5 days a week Mon-Friday (Part time/Job share considered)
• Office based

Expected hours: 30 – 37.5 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate: Lymington: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience: Graphic design: 1 year (preferred)
