The Design Team is responsible for the creation, development, and execution of all studio projects across a various array of industries in a multitude of environments including but not limited to; retail, events, digital, PR/media, and social The Senior Graphic Designer will support the Creative Director in the development and execution of all studio projects from concept ideation to completion. You will ensure each project is developed and executed in line with the Space Between standard as well as delivered against our client’s expectations across all deliverables. This role will include working collaboratively with a multitude of key internal and external personnel in the through Design, Account Management, our supplier network, and the client. Within this ever-evolving area, you will be looking at adopting new design practices and innovative ideas to support our overall business growth. Furthermore, the Senior Graphic Designer will be aware of the company’s revenue goals and the need to deliver against the business’ revenue objectives. You will pay particular attention to all incurred costs and maximise our return on investment. Responsibilities of the Senior Graphic Designer - Support the Creative Director in the creation, development, and execution of all studio projects across the various environments - Work closely with the Client Services team through the end-to-end journey of all projects - Develop design concepts, layouts, and artwork for various mediums such as print, digital platforms, and social media. - Key contributor to the critical stages of the project briefing process; internal project brief, production partner workshop, initial deck, project meetings, install recap, project review - Ensure feedback is reflected and change is managed and communicated effectively - Covering changes in deck & budget implications - Deliver against expectations and deliverables on time and in full - Gather and implement knowledge around various substrates and materials - Ensure consistency in branding, style, and messaging across different design projects while meeting deadlines and client requirements. - Create and drive functional efficiencies through process reviews and new ways of working - Encourage creative thinking through information sharing and open communication - Ensure the Space Between core values are embodied by all team members Organisational Skills - Strong verbal and written communication - Understanding of brand management - Problem solving - Stakeholder management - Critical thinking - Initiative Requirements Education/Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Design or related discipline (minimum Diploma) or 5 years’+ relevant working experience in lieu of Experience: - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Design in an agency, retail, fashion, sports, luxury, or FMCG environment - Proven depth of technical design knowledge - [Minimum] Proficient use of Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop - [Preferred] Knowledge or understanding of any of the following programs and skills - After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Google SketchUp (or similar), website CMS, photography, advanced retouching, videography, video editing Salary $100,000 - $115,000 Ex Super
