About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer/Creative Director with specialized experience in web design and social media. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio demonstrating modern design skills, fresh ideas, and a passion for creating visually compelling content.

Day to Day Role:

• Generate creative and innovative design concepts that resonate with target audiences, showcasing fresh and fun ideas
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, incorporating them into design projects to maintain a contemporary and cutting-edge aesthetic
• Direct photography selection including retouching and attending shoots for new product launches and campaigns.
• Work with Marketing team to translate and create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs.
• Design and layout packaging artwork: must understand die-lines; execute on all design principles including layout, typography, and color theory; and maintain a strong sense of grid structure.
• Ensure consistency of brand and creative across digital customer touch points.
• Create internal decks and brand communication assets.
• Works within production schedules to manage time and prioritize daily workload.
• Create merchandising graphics
• Create presentation decks and event collateral
• Design primary and secondary retail packaging and promotional displays in the beauty space
• Keep up to date with innovations and trends

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in graphic design in Beauty, Jewelry or Fashion industry
• Adobe Creative Suite (well versed in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• Proven portfolio showcasing modern and innovative design concepts, specifically in web and social media graphics
• Bachelor’s (Preferred)
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
• Ability to retouch images
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong time management
• Familiarity with pop culture, fashion and trends
• Strong portfolio of design work
• Able to present concepts
