Job Description:

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to handle our Facebook and Instagram accounts. You will be responsible for creating content, growing reach, and interacting with the audience, and overall monitoring of accounts. Helping us grow our following, reach, and ultimately membership.

Boise REIN (Real Estate Investor Network) is a new organization that provides educational and networking opportunities for investors and those seeking to work with investors. Our in-person events allow investors and related businesses a space to build relationships that support and propel the investment journey farther.

We are a remote team based in Boise, ID. You don’t have to be local, however we would prefer someone who is able to show up to some of our events to capture content.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan & develop a social media content calendar for relevant platforms (Facebook, Instagram (including Stories), and future social platforms such as LinkedIn)
  • Understanding of social media KPIs; Assist with tracking and interpreting metrics to enhance user engagement, suggest content optimization
  • Set specific OKRs, KPIs and report on them on a regular cadence
  • Design a library of templates for recurring posts (e.g. events, podcast episodes, quotes, etc)
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, UGC, and news for both feed and stories)
  • Collaborate with team members so posts are aligned with events and promotions
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures)
  • Suggest and implement ideas to develop brand awareness and engagement
  • Research current trends and audience preferences to ensure we’re following best practices and providing the best possible content to our audience

Requirements:

  • Two or more years of proven work experience as a Social Media Manager
  • Intermediate level of Canva or Adobe (ability to deliver creative content, including minor video editing)
  • Strong writing, organizational, project management, and time management skills
  • Must be self-motivated but also able to effectively collaborate, work in teams, and build good working relationships across multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and follow-up skills
  • An ability to recognize good design and maintain a consistent aesthetic
  • Knowledge of how online marketing works, in general (funnels, email marketing, etc.)

  • Job type: Part-time, contract (1099), remote
  • Pay: $750.00 - $1,200.00 per month
  • Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
  • Benefits: Flexible schedule
