Job Description

Epapa, a Berlin-based start-up, is seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join their team. The company is revolutionizing education for abstract thinking through engaging videos and exercises that utilize AI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating wireframes, prototypes, style guides, and user flows. They will also need to effectively communicate interactive ideas, present and defend design decisions, and ensure that the product interface aligns with the company’s vision and style. Additionally, the candidate should stay up to date with the latest trends in the UX/UI industry and should have experience in usability testing, user interviews, A/B testing, and user stories and journeys.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience and a proven track record
• Degree in a relevant field
• Strong existing portfolio and ability to explain design concepts and ideation
• Proficiency in UX and UI design, with experience using Figma
• Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Problem-solving mindset and creative ideas
• Experience working in an agile/scrum development process
• Great communication skills and ability to explain decisions
• Familiarity with user-centered design, user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, and accessibility concerns
• Experience with prototyping tools and animation tools such as ProtoPie, AfterEffect, and LottieFiles

This is a freelance contract that lasts from 01.01.24 to 31.03.24.
