Job Description:

We are seeking a Graphic Designer for a contract role on a Hybrid model for one of our clients based in either Manchester or Leeds. The Graphic Designer will work with minimal support and will have the ability to influence and mentor others. The responsibilities of this role include:

• Developing design concepts in collaboration with service managers and programme directors
• Having a potentially broad scope of responsibility across complex services
• Setting direction and embedding good practice within teams
• Making important decisions based on research and understanding how this research impacts others
• Identifying and comparing the best processes or delivery methods to use
• Measuring and evaluating outcomes
• Helping teams to manage and visualize outcomes, prioritize work, and adhere to agreed minimum viable product (MVP), priorities, and scope
• Listening to the needs of technical and business stakeholders, and interpreting them effectively
• Managing stakeholder expectations
• Managing active and reactive communication
• Supporting or hosting difficult discussions within the team or with diverse senior stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum of UK Public sector experience
• Excellent graphic design skills
• Ability to work with minimal support
• Strong influencing and mentoring abilities
• Good decision-making skills based on research
• Strong understanding of design concepts
• Experience in managing stakeholder expectations and communication

• Location: Leeds or Manchester
• Type: Contract (2 days onsite per week)
