Job Description:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating design solutions in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego (“RMHC-SD”) raffle fundraisers. The ideal candidate is an independent, self-starter who can quickly acclimate to job demands and build upon past successes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree. Specialty in graphic design, fine arts, or related field is a plus.
• Proficient with desktop publishing tools, with expertise in each of the following Adobe Creative Cloud programs: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop.
• Experience with Google Web Designer a plus.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro a plus.
• Demonstrated work experience on regional or national advertising campaigns.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
• Capacity to thrive under pressure, effectively managing multiple priorities and assignments.

Additional Information:

• This is a full-time, part-term position beginning 1/8/2024 – 5/10/2024. The candidate is expected to work at least 40 hours per week for the duration of the assignment, with occasional overtime work.
• This position is eligible for remote work with on-site work and/or meetings at RMHC-SD in San Diego, CA at least once a week. Schedule to be agreed upon with supervisor. All work must be completed on company-provided devices.
• Physical Requirements: The employee is frequently required to stand; sit; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Compensation: The pay range for this role is $32.00 - $35.00 per hour.
