Job Description

Arena is a political advertising firm headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. We produce print and digital campaign advertising for Republican clients and candidates across the country. As we prepare for a very busy 2024 election cycle, we are looking for several designers to join our team through the November elections.

These positions are seasonal/temporary and would start immediately and work full-time hours in our Sugar House offices until November. These positions are not available for remote work. There are no benefits or relocation packages as this is a temporary position.

Arena is one of the top Republican mail and digital advertising firms in the country. We pride ourselves on quality work, creativity, and speed. Applicants must be able to design quickly, produce clean layouts using Indesign and Photoshop primarily, and have a solid understanding of how to use images and typography to create quality designs. Our work focuses on high-end direct mail, digital ads, and web design with a turnaround time of just a few hours.

We are looking for people who can work in a team environment, communicate well with others, and be able to work under the pressure to meet deadlines. There will be times that are stressful in terms of workload and possible late hours during the busy times.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years experience with Adobe Indesign and Adobe Photoshop
• Experience creating designs for print
• Current portfolio
• Skills in After Effects, Figma, and other Adobe design software is a plus
• Design degree or certificate preferred, but a combination of experience and other education will be considered
