Job Description

Apply art, design, and graphic skills to create visually engaging concepts such as promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital advertising/messaging. Participate in design discussions and give feedback during planning and strategy meetings. Quickly translate ideas into concepts. Create digital assets (static, video, gifs, lightbox ads, and HTML and HTML5) for a range of platforms (social, display advertising, eCommerce, websites, mobile apps, billboards, etc.). Coordination, design, and production of marketing and business development materials. Award submittals, portfolios, brochures, booklets, posters, advertisements, banners, wall graphics, signage, etc. Manage photo and light video editing for staff headshots, company events, and project photography. Graphic design and photo editing assistance for website, blog and social media. Collaborate to achieve goals that positively impact their bottom line. Perform all other duties as assigned. There could be some light traveling, but all travel related costs and expenses are covered.

Requirements

• Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• Creativity
• Possess a bachelor degree or equivalent experience of at least 2+ years of graphic design production
• Demonstrate the ability to capture a vision
• Manage and execute projects from conception to completion
• A working knowledge of visual design and layout principles and color theory.
• Strong portfolio showing the breadth of digital design capabilities for your experience level
• Desire to develop creative and original designs that aligns with the brand voice
• Embrace and implement feedback effectively
• Utilize judgement, discretion, and confidence in handling information

This is an in-house position serving multiple companies. There are part-time (20-25 hours per week) or full-time openings. Remote work is not permitted for this position as being in the office allows the designer to be exposed to the brand in a way that remote work does not permit.
