Job Description

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. They will create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, manage social media accounts, and monitor performance metrics to track the success of campaigns. The Social Media Manager will stay up-to-date with industry trends and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels. Other duties include responding to comments and messages on social media in a timely and professional manner and monitoring and reporting on social media analytics to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

Applicants for the role of Social Media Manager should possess the following skills:

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas for social media content
• Knowledge of public relations principles and practices
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical skills to track and measure the success of social media campaigns

Additional Information

• Confidence with face-to-face sales and taking orders on the shop floor and social media platforms, awarded with commissions
• A must-have is the confidence to be able to feature in promotional videos for the shop and its products to boost sales

Job Type and Salary

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £8,127.60-£13,500.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
