Job Description

The Part-Time Computer Graphic Artist is responsible for the design and production of computer-generated graphics for both print and web. Duties include designing signs, banners, and posters for campus activities, preparing design layouts and specifications, taking digital photos and videos of campus events, performing color correction and retouching, and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of work experience or college courses; or any combination of education and experience.
• Coursework in computers, web page editing, art or design, including but not limited to Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Extensive knowledge in the latest version of the software required for production, including but not limited to Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Familiarity with digital photography, digital video taping, large format printing, and video production.
• Thorough command of the written English language both oral and in writing.
• Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals, objectives, and policies and procedures.
• Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment, including students, faculty, and staff.
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend assignments.
