Job Description

We are a boutique design firm specializing in comprehensive creative visual design services and marketing strategies. Our unique approach to finding visual solutions for our clients helps to make the process pleasant and successful. We are a full-service design and marketing firm serving the Vancouver, Washington/Portland, Oregon areas, and beyond. Some of our highlighted areas of expertise are marketing strategies, social media strategies and implementation, website design and development, and graphic design.

We are currently seeking a highly creative and innovative Freelance/Part-Time Graphic Designer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with proficiency in all aspects of visual graphic design, social media experience, with video and copywriting skills as a plus. This is a part-time 1099 contractor position with the potential for growth and development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a graphic designer with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Experience in creating graphics optimized for various social media platforms.
• Creative, forward-thinking, and able to bring innovative ideas to the table.
• Deadline-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and consistency in design.
• Ability to work independently and identify priorities while balancing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Graphic Design:
• Create visually stunning and effective designs for various marketing materials, including print and digital assets.
• Ensure brand consistency across all design projects.
• Social Media:
• Design and optimize graphics for social media platforms.
• Video (Optional):
• If proficient, contribute to the creation of video content for marketing campaigns.
• Edit and enhance video content for various platforms.
• Copywriting (Optional):
• Write compelling and effective copy for marketing materials, including website content, social media posts, and advertising campaigns.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the marketing and design team to brainstorm and execute creative concepts.
• Collaborate to understand the vision and incorporate feedback into design projects.
• Ability to meet deadlines with flexibility for changes to client needs and vision.
• Ability to take feedback and make changes to meet the desires and needs of the clients.

Additional Information

• This is a part-time 1099 contractor position with flexibility in scheduling.
• Mostly remote with occasional in-person collaboration requirements.
