Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our in-house team at Avec Sport. The role is a fixed-term contract of 7 months during our peak period, with a possibility of becoming permanent.

Main duties will include:

• Supporting our Graphic Designer across a range of artwork requirements
• Creating ‘Mock Up’ of artwork for customer sign off
• Supporting the team with internal graphics for marketing, sales, etc.
• Assisting with photography and image editing for our online stores
• Assisting in the creation of marketing assets for our online stores
• Occasional assistance in other areas of the business when required

Requirements

• ‘A’ level or equivalent in Graphic Design
• Full knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and InDesign
• Excellent knowledge of Photoshop
• Knowledge of using a DSLR camera and photo editing is advantageous
• Time management skills
• Ability to work to a brief

Additional Information

• Term: Fixed Term 7 Month Contract (2nd April 2024 – 31st October 2024) with a possibility of becoming permanent
• Salary: National Living Wage as per government guidance
• Hours: Mon – Friday 8:45am – 5:15pm (1 hour lunch)
• Location: Spennymoor Head Office, County Durham
• Holiday: 20 days (pro rata) annual leave entitlement + bank holidays
• Job Type: Fixed term contract
• Salary: £8.60-£11.44 per hour
• Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
