Job Description
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Brand Marketing Executive to join our Brand Studio team in either our Aberdeen or Dundee office. As a Brand Marketing Executive, you will work across our Aberdeen news brands including The Press and Journal and Evening Express, as well as our radio station Original 106 FM. Assisting our Brand Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in helping to tell the stories of these brands across key channels such as social media, digital, OOH and print. With Taste of Grampian and The P&J’s newly launched Run Fest 2024, this is also an exciting chance to help to tell the stories and market some key events in Aberdeen’s social calendar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help to deliver our brand marketing vision for our local communities
- Develop, execute and deliver brand marketing campaigns
- Develop, execute and deliver event marketing campaigns
- Support to increase brand growth and brand loyalty
- Support to create compelling brand messaging, visuals and engaging CTAs
- Collaborate with multiple teams to create and deliver strategies
- Writing clean, clear and effective editorial copy as part of content marketing campaigns
Requirements:
- Passionate and loves creating impactful and consistent branding
- A creative-thinker who isn’t afraid to bring new ideas to the table
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Writing clean and consistent copy comes second nature to you
Experience:
It would be advantageous if you already have experience of working in a marketing role, however, applications from those with transferable skills i.e. journalism are also welcome.

- Location: Aberdeen or Dundee
- Employment Type: Full-time, fixed term for 12 months
- Working Hours: 35 hours per week
- Hybrid Working: The role presents the opportunity for hybrid working that must include regular office attendance
