Job Description:

Colten Care is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating innovative and high-quality designs for various projects, while maintaining brand integrity and adhering to deadlines and budgets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Interpreting creative briefs and producing designs that match the desired aims and purpose
• Undertaking research for content material and ensuring accuracy in editorial, grammatical, and spelling aspects
• Staying up to date with the latest concepts and tools in graphics and sharing information with team members
• Taking the lead on creative projects and demonstrating leadership qualities
• Maintaining a calm manner under pressure in a busy creative team environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Graphic Designer, ideally in a busy agency environment or in-house creative studio
• Experience in both print marketing and digital design
• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Knowledge of Premier Pro, After Effects, and XD is a plus
• Good understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Effective team player with strong multi-tasking skills and ability to work proactively and independently
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage relationships across multiple departments
