Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of design work, demonstrating a solid understanding of design principles, typography, and layout. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective designs for a variety of mediums, including digital and print to enhance CEA’s image and brand in the community. Full-time is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field from an accredited college or university
• Two-three years of experience in graphic design
• Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva
• Experience in photography and video editing is a plus
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with different deadlines
• Provides new approaches and creative ideas
• Ability to work as a team or independently on multiple projects

• Stay up to date with design trends and new design tools
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Design highly-engaging social media graphics and compelling graphics for various platforms
• Review designs for errors before printing or publishing
• Develop promotional materials for programs and special events
• Create illustrations and graphics for proposals
• Update websites
