Job Description

This dynamic role provides a unique experience by blending creative design and graphics application skills. The Lead Graphics Technician is responsible for overseeing the creation, production, and installation of all in-house signage, including overseeing a team of seasonal graphics technicians.

• Create various signs for NTC Events, including the US Open
• Adhere to style guides for USTA/NTC/US Open branding
• Order and inventory all graphics supplies
• Facilitate and execute the installation and removal of in-house signs
• Assist Parking and Event Operations Teams with wayfinding sign deployment and retrieval
• Keep a daily log of all signs created
• Update US Open Draw boards daily throughout the tournament
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to efficiently design layouts for wide format print applications
• Proficient to advanced in use of Adobe Illustrator
• Previous experience operating/maintaining large format printer/plotter
• Ability to learn wide format printing software (Roland VersaWorks)
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Google application experience a plus)
• Punctual and presentable shift attendance
• Hands-on, proactive approach to completing tasks
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Self-motivated individual who can work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Availability to work for the full duration of the US Open tournament

The expected pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 an hour, plus a daily meal allowance via credential during the US Open. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
