Job Description
We are looking for a social media manager who loves to create engaging content for social media (stories, reels, tiktoks, posts, etc.). The ideal candidate lives in or around Newport Beach and can come to our boutique fitness studio weekly to capture content and keep our social media pages fresh and up-to-date. We seek someone up-to-date with social media trends, can create a strategy, has a creative eye, and can translate our brand message onto social feeds to generate new followers and potential clients.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design strategies and content buckets for all social media channels
- Implement and execute social media strategy to align with business goals
- Set specific objectives (growth, engagement, leads generation)
- Analyze insights to adjust strategy
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content weekly (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
- Collaborate with other staff, like marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure brand consistency
- Communicate with followers and respond to queries promptly
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience as a social media manager (send examples with application)
- Hands-on experience in content management
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and multitasking skills

- Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
