Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Graphic Designer on freelance, part-time basis who is a learning material and page layout specialist. The role involves designing unique creative content for the company’s marketing campaigns, marketing collateral, website, video, print content, training material and manuals, customer presentations, brand labels, and more.

Role Activities:

• Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements and illustrating concepts.
• Preparing rough drafts and presenting ideas creatively for approval.
• Developing illustrations, logos, visuals and other designs through software for corporate marketing collateral, company profile and portfolio, client proposals, projects and presentations, and training material as per the company quality guidelines and corporate identity.
• Reviewing final layouts and making sure that they’re visually appealing and on-brand.
• Arranging page elements for screens and printed media.
• Brainstorming new page ideas to incorporate graphics, art, images, and diagrams naturally into the text.
• Modifying page graphics to work with the images and text.
• Examining page proofs for final approval.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, or a similar field.
• 2-3 years of experience as a graphic designer or page layout designer.
• A strong and powerful portfolio of creative illustrations or other graphics.
• Proficiency with necessary publishing tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Quark, Illustrator, Articulate RISE, and video editing tools.
• Excellent composition and visual design skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of typography principles.
• Artistic and drawing skills.
• Advanced proofreading skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• The ability to openly receive and provide constructive criticism.
• Thorough experience with computer-aided design.
• Excellent verbal and written English language skills.

Additional Information

This position is a remote, freelance position. If you are based in the UAE, you must have your own visa. Hours of work/availability and hourly rate will be discussed with shortlisted candidates. Job Type: Part-time.
