Job Description:

We are seeking an Entry Level Social Media Specialist to join our team. As a Social Media Specialist, you will assist in managing our social media platforms and creating engaging content to promote our clients brands. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about social media and wants to gain experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and monitoring social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
• Create and schedule social media posts to increase brand awareness and engagement
• Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
• Conduct social listening to monitor trends and conversations related to our brand
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media strategies and campaigns
• Assist in tracking and analyzing social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns
• Support the creation of visual content using Canva
• Assist in video editing for social media content
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media

Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of various social media platforms and their best practices
• Familiarity with Canva for content creation
• Basic understanding of Google Analytics and SEO principles (more a plus)
• Experience with public relations or community management is a plus
• E-commerce knowledge is a plus

Additional Information:

• Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
• Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
• Benefits: Flexible schedule, Paid time off
• Schedule: 4 hour shift, 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
• Supplemental pay types: Bonus opportunities, Commission pay
• Work Location: In person
