Job Description

The Minecraft team is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to maintain and evolve the beloved art style of Minecraft. The role involves guiding visual development across various mediums like marketing materials, web design, print, and internal documents while adhering to brand guidelines.

• Plan, analyze, and create visual solutions for communication needs.
• Create marketing materials, web and print designs, and internal studio documents.
• Prepare sketches and layouts for internal and external assets creation.
• Design packaging, retail signage, and marketing assets for Minecraft consumer products.
• Collaborate with the Minecraft team to implement creative strategies and art assets for marketing campaigns.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• 2-5+ years of media and design experience with a focus on playful graphic design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong creativity, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work with different media types and visualize in 2D and 3D.
• Previous experience in computer-based layout design and image creation.
• Experience playing Minecraft is a bonus.

Pay Range: $30.50 - $35 per hour
