Job Description

Lewiston Monument Company is currently seeking a part-time Monument Graphic Designer to design Monuments in the evenings. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, works independently and diligently, and has a strong attention to detail. As a Monument Graphic Designer, you play a crucial role in helping families honor and remember their loved ones through personalized memorialization. Your artistic talent, technical skill, and compassionate approach contribute to the creation of enduring tributes that serve as a source of comfort and remembrance for generations to come. Graphic Design experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Create Graphic Monument Designs using correct measurements, fonts, and styles based on the drawings from the sales teams.
• Inform customer via email, copying the Sales Representative, once rough draft of Graphic Design is complete.
• Document Progress in QuickBooks.
• Adjust designs based on customer feedback to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track time spent on each design when instructed to ensure accurate pricing.
• Assist with production design tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Word Processors and Email.
• Preferred: Proficient in digital art software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Experience in logo design, photo manipulation, web design, and typography.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present ideas effectively.

• Job Type: Part-time
• Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
• Work Location: In person
