Job Description

Sarah Drake Design, a high-end stationery and housewares brand, is seeking a Graphic Design and Production Assistant for part-time position (14-16 hours per week). This role involves assisting in various product design and production projects. The position is located near the brown line Addison stop in Chicago, with the option to work off-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating surface design patterns from original artwork
  • Working on client-facing projects under supervision
  • Invitation production including assembly, exacto handling, ribbon tying, and wax seals
  • Packaging and shipping products to customers

Requirements

Candidate’s Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Adobe CSS Programs, especially Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Proficiency in production design, including computer illustration, scanning, file cleanup, and creating repeats
  • Attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, positive, easy-going, and interested in working with clients
  • Preference for candidates with marketing, social media, and photography experience

Other Information

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Experience with Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute: Chicago, IL 60613 (Required)

Ability to Relocate to Chicago, IL 60613 before starting work (Required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Chicago, IL 60613
