Job Description

An exciting Graphic Designer/Artworker opportunity has become available within Brend Hotels, a successful family-run hotel chain in Devon and Cornwall. This is a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, with potential for longer-term work.

Working in the Creative Department at the head office in Barnstaple, North Devon, you will collaborate on various projects for Brend Hotel brands. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will execute briefs efficiently and work closely with the marketing department.

Key Responsibilities include: Graphic design, layout, image manipulation, creating digital images for social media and emailers, designing print materials, sourcing imagery, and supporting team members with design needs.

Requirements

Skills and experience required: Fluent in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, ideally with up to 2 years of experience. Skills in After Effects and Premiere Pro are a bonus. Excellent eye for layout, composition, typography, and attention to detail. Good organizational and communication skills are essential.
