Job Description

Coffee Meets Bagel is seeking a part-time graphic designer to join its marketing team on a contract basis. The role initially requires approximately 10 hours/week with potential for additional hours in the future. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere with occasional availability during PDT hours.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should be proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and motion graphics software of their choice. Basic Figma skills are necessary, and familiarity with project management tools like Asana and Slack is preferred. Experience with Midjourney, Leanplum, and Braze is advantageous and expected to be learned on the job. This role is open to candidates from the US, Canada, Singapore, and Thailand.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include graphic design for social posts, event signage, sale assets, and app store graphics following the CMB aesthetic. Additionally, creating new illustrations for marketing and product use, adhering to brand guidelines, and animating graphics. Updating old marketing assets to a new brand refresh, including color and font changes, graphic updates, and transitioning templates.

Qualifications

The desired candidate should demonstrate a deep understanding of CMB’s aesthetic and the ability to apply it effectively. Critical thinking skills, the capability to explain design decisions, and receptivity to constructive feedback are essential. Strong communication skills, speed, and autonomy are required due to remote work setup with team members across various time zones.
