Job Description

RIT’s K-12 University Center is seeking a Graphic Designer for a one-year temporary assignment. The designer will be responsible for creating visual concepts in electronic, print, and multimedia formats to effectively communicate information on behalf of the Center and its programs. The role involves collaborating with teams to produce engaging creative content for various design projects in support of the Center’s message.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software/tools.
• Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and aesthetics.
• Understanding of RIT branding guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills for effective communication with diverse audiences.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Values transparency, accountability, and communication with a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple demands, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Attention to detail in all responsibilities and willingness to take on new tasks or special projects.
